Zurchers
In 1953 Clarence Zurcher opened Zurchers Merchandise as a wholesale toy company. Clarence and his son, Robert (Bob) Zurcher, sold their toys to various grocery and convenience stores throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Nevada. In 1983, Bob converted part of the Zurchers Merchandise warehouse in Boise, Idaho into the first Zurchers Party and Wedding Store. Over the years Zurchers Merchandise has continued to expand the Zurchers Party and Wedding Stores, while the wholesale division of the company has been sold. Bob still owns and operates all thirteen Zurchers Party and Wedding Stores throughout Utah and Idaho with the help of his three sons. As a family owned and locally operated business, Zurchers Merchandise has grown and prospered due to an unwavering commitment to honest business practices, low prices, and the highest quality customer service.
